    Overview

Hala Samir is an Egyptian Muslim media presenter and preacher, a family and educational counsellor and a human-development trainer, known to Arab audiences from television programmes on various satellite channels and from a strong presence on video platforms. In her lectures and episodes she addresses women's, family and social questions from an educational and religious perspective. 1 2

No public source publishes a reliable birth date for her, and one of her published biographies says so explicitly, warning that some sites attribute unverified roles to her; this record is therefore limited to what her channel and the published biographies establish, and records no birth date and no contested education details. 1

    Career and work

She has presented programmes on various satellite channels, among them the programme Hamsat (همسات) on the Watan channel, which addresses society's problems in an educational style, according to her published biography; another biography reports that she resides in Turkey. 3

On her YouTube channel she presents seasonal series and programmes, including Buyut Munawwara (بيوت منورة) in its first and second seasons, Kuni Mithlahunna (كوني مثلهن, Ramadan 2019), Asrar al-Buyut (أسرار البيوت, Ramadan 2020), and Fi Rihabiha (في رحابها) over several seasons, alongside episode series on child-rearing, marital and family relations, and the engagement period; her video descriptions carry the links to her official accounts on other social platforms. 2

Her channel had about 4.71 million subscribers as of October 2026, a platform figure that changes constantly, and the biographies describe her videos' views as running into the millions. 2 1

Her lectures address marital relations and managing disagreement between spouses, positive child-rearing and dealing with children and teenagers, and women's psychological and spiritual balance, and she offers private family consultations through contact numbers announced on her channel. 1 2

    Positions and criticism

This section should be read as a presentation of positions reported by the sources, not as a verdict of the museum on them.

One published biography reports that she was in the past associated with the thought of an organisation it does not name, and that she has announced her separation from it and that she currently belongs to no group or specific ideology, stipulating that her name not be used to promote any thought without her knowledge. 1

The circulating biographies conflict widely over her education and certificates — some attributing university studies in tourism and law followed by sharia studies, others certificates in family guidance and human development from international institutions — with no independent documentation for any of it, so the museum records none of these details. 1 3
