Overview
Buran, daughter of Kisra. Al-Tabari relates that Rustam and al-Fayruzan asked her to write for them the names of Kisra's women, his concubines and the family of Kisra, and she did so. 1
In al-Baladhuri, she ruled after the death of Shiruyeh until Yazdgerd ibn Shahriyar came of age, and she sent to the Muslims Mihran ibn Mihrbandadh al-Hamadhani with twelve thousand men. 2
