Bashshar Ibn Burd

Bashshar ibn Burd, a poet. Ibn al-Nadim counts him in the "Fihrist" among the poets accused of showing Islam and concealing heresy, and names with him Ishaq ibn Khalaf, Ibn Sana, Salm al-Khasir, Ali ibn al-Khalil and Ali ibn Thabit. ²

This is a judgement attributed to Ibn al-Nadim alone, and the museum does not decide it. The poet's biography, his death and the rest need an additional source.
