Overview

Amr ibn Bilal al-Asadi, a man of the Banu Asad, who married the daughter of Zinba' al-Judhami. 2

The report

Al-Mas'udi relates that he tricked Abd al-Malik on Atika daughter of Yazid, when she was angry with him. He claimed that his son had killed his brother, and that Abd al-Malik had resolved to kill him while he was the one with the right of blood-vengeance, though he had pardoned, until Atika was content. Abd al-Malik judged him a thousand dinars, a farm with what was in it, and shares of inheritance for his children. 2
