Place in the story

    Unknown (unknown)

Roles are dated and sourced; the museum describes the act and attributes the judgement.

The House of Representatives and the Speakership

He represented the Tambuwal/Kebbe constituency in the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2015, serving as Deputy Chief Whip (2007–2011) and then as the twelfth Speaker of the House (2011–2015). His party allegiance moved repeatedly: from the Peoples Democratic Party to the Democratic People's Party and back, then to the ruling All Progressives Congress in 2014, and back to the PDP in 2018 1.

    Governor of Sokoto, then senator

He governed Sokoto State from 29 May 2015 to 29 May 2023, and contested his party's presidential primaries more than once; in 2018 he was among the top four candidates in the PDP race. Since 13 June 2023 he has sat in the Senate for Sokoto South 1.

Affiliation, as the sources attest it

The English article makes no statement of Tambuwal's religion anywhere in its text — the single "Muslim" in its body describes Muhammadu Buhari, his 2019 opponent — and files him only in the category "Nigerian Muslims", a filing, which never counts. Wikidata gives a single structured value, Islam, with no school. With no source naming a school, the museum's record keeps the value unknown 1 2.
