Ali ibn Isma'il ibn Maytham al-Tammar. Ibn al-Nadim says in the "Fihrist" that he was the first to speak on the doctrine of the imamate, that Maytham was one of the great companions of Ali, and that he has two books, "al-Imama" and "al-Istihqaq". 2
