Al Sini

Hubaysh ibn Musa al-Sini, author of the book "al-Aghani ala Huruf al-Mu'jam" (The Songs in the Order of the Alphabet), which he wrote for al-Mutawakkil. ²

Ibn al-Nadim says that he gathered in his book things from the songs that neither Ishaq nor Amr ibn Banna had mentioned, and names of singers, men and women, in the pre-Islamic and Islamic periods. He also has a book "Mujarradat al-Mughanni". ²
