Al-Shafi'i with her; her burial

It is related that when Imam al-Shafi'i entered Egypt he attended her and heard hadith on her, and when he died his bier was brought into her house and she prayed over him in her home; her husband the trusted Ishaq b. Ja'far al-Sadiq resolved to carry her to Medina for burial, but the Egyptians begged him to keep her — so she was buried in Egypt, and her grave is famed for answered prayer and is visited. 1
