Overview

Al-Khasibi, a vizier of the caliph al-Qahir billah. Ibn al-Athir relates that he sent to the Sajiyya and the Hajariyya asking what had moved them to gather to seize al-Qahir. They said it had been established for them that he meant to seize Sima', and had dug dungeons to imprison their commanders. Another account of the cause of al-Qahir's deposition says that he had slighted the Sajiyya and the Hajariyya, did not grant the requests of their great men, and delayed their allowances. 1

His full name and his years of life are not recorded in the museum's data, and need an additional source.
