Overview

Al-Husayn ibn al-Qasim ibn Abd Allah ibn Sulayman ibn Wahb, a vizier of the caliph al-Muqtadir. Ibn al-Athir says that it was said that he followed al-Shalmaghani in his doctrine, and that a note in his hand was found in al-Shalmaghani's house, in which he addressed him in terms in which one human does not address another, and the note was shown, and people recognised it. 2

The report is given with "it was said", and the museum's data have no other source that confirms it, so it needs an additional source.
