Overview

Al-Hajjaj ibn Uzayya al-Ansari, a poet. He lamented Ammar ibn Yasir (may God be pleased with him) after his killing at Siffin with verses, some of which begin with a call to the men and whose eye pours out tears, and in which he expresses his grief for Abu al-Yaqzan Ammar. 2

In the same verses al-Mas'udi gives a saying of the Prophet ﷺ about Ammar. 3

His life outside these verses needs an additional source.
