Overview
Abu Bakr al-Barqi Ahmad b. 'Abdallah of Barqa; he transmitted and was trustworthy and firm. It is said his brother Muhammad had composed the History and left it unfinished — he completed it and transmitted it, their isnad being one. Walking through the beasts' market, a beast struck him and he died that same day, in Ramadan of that year. 1
