Overview
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab ibn Salam, one of the Mu'tazilites of Basra, and according to Ibn al-Nadim, the leadership of the Basrans ended with him in his time. He took from Abu Ya'qub al-Shahham and attended the sessions of Ibn Kaysan in Baghdad. 2
He was born in 235 AH and died in 303 AH, and his son Abu Hashim buried him at Jubba. 2
