Overview

An Alid who was held prisoner by Abu al-Hasan ibn Kaki. Ibn al-Athir relates in "al-Kamil" that Ibn Kaki drank one night and his companions dispersed, so the Alid rose against him, killed him and hid himself. 1

In the morning they brought him out from his hiding place and gave him their allegiance as amir, and he made Ali ibn Kharshid commander of his army. Then he fell from his mount one day while playing polo, and died. 1
