Overview
Abu al-Jarud Ziyad ibn al-Mundhir al-Abdi, kunya Abu al-Najm, whom Ibn al-Nadim counts among the scholars of the Zaydiyya. 2
Ibn al-Nadim relates that Ja'far ibn Muhammad asked about him and described him as blind of heart and blind of sight. He quotes Muhammad ibn Sinan saying that he did not die until he drank intoxicants and sided with the unbelievers. These are judgements attributed to those who said them in the source; the museum does not adopt them. 2
