Overview
Abu al-Hasan al-Shirji al-Faradi, the reckoner and expert in inheritance, who took the science of inheritance from Ibn al-Laban. Al-Shirazi mentions him as "our shaykh". It is related from Ibn al-Laban that there is no expert in inheritance on earth except his companions, or the companions of his companions, or someone who knows nothing well. 2 Al-Shirazi does not mention his death.
