Overview

Abd Allah ibn Mus'ab is mentioned by al-Mas'udi in the report of a slander against Musa ibn Abd Allah before al-Rashid. Al-Mas'udi relates that Musa swore to him that what had been said was not true, and that Abd Allah contracted leprosy three days later and died, and that his grave caved in on those who lowered him into it, and a foul smell came out of it. 2 The report is from al-Mas'udi alone in our data, and needs an additional source.
