Summary
It reached Malik that Umm Salama, wife of the Prophet ﷺ, said: Messenger of God, will we be destroyed while righteous people are among us? He said: yes, when wickedness increases. The editor notes Ibn Abd al-Barr's view that this wording is attributed to Umm Salama only through a route that is not strong, and that it is well known and preserved from Zaynab bint Jahsh (may God be pleased with her) from the Prophet. 1
