Summary
Yahya transmits from Malik, from Rabia ibn Abi Abd al-Rahman, that he asked Said ibn al-Musayyab: how much is due for a woman's finger? He said: ten camels. And for two fingers? Twenty. For three? Thirty. For four? Twenty. Rabia said: when the wound becomes greater and the calamity more severe, her blood-money decreases? Said said: are you from Iraq? Rabia said: no, a knowledgeable, careful man, or an ignorant one learning. Said said: that is the Sunna, my nephew. 1
