Summary
Malik said: when people are all in one contract, their master may not free one of them without the consent and agreement of his companions in the contract, even if they are young; their consent is not nothing, and that is not lawful against them. A man may work for all of them and pay their contract, then the master goes to the one who paid for them and frees him, and that is an inability for those who remain. Malik mentioned that harm must be removed, and this is greater harm. 1
