Summary
Malik reported about a man who contracted his slave for gold or silver, and stipulated in the contract travel, service or a sacrifice, then the contract slave became able to pay all his instalments before they were due: if he pays all his instalments while this condition is on him, he is freed, and the service or travel he would do himself falls from him; and as for a sacrifice, clothing, or anything he has to pay, it is valued like gold and silver and given with his instalments before manumission. 1
