Summary
Malik said of a contract slave who dies leaving property that does not cover the contract, and leaving a child with him in the contract, and an umm walad. The umm walad wants to work for them: the property is given to her if she is trustworthy with it and strong enough to work. If she is not strong and not trustworthy, she is given nothing, and she and the contract slave's child revert to being slaves of the contract slave's master. 1
