Summary
Malik said: the practice among us regarding someone who buys the contract of a contract slave, then the contract slave dies before paying: the buyer of the contract inherits him, and if he becomes unable, the buyer has his person. If the contract slave pays his contract to the one who bought it and is freed, his clientage belongs to the one who made the contract, and the buyer of the contract has no share of his clientage. 1
