Summary
Malik said of a group who are all under one contract, one of whom wounds a man in a way that carries blood-money: it is said to him and to those with him under the contract: pay together the blood-money of that wound. If they pay, they remain under their contract. If they do not pay, they are unable, and their master is given the choice: if he wishes, he pays the blood-money of the wound and they all revert to being his slaves; if he wishes, he hands over the wounder alone, and the others revert to being his slaves together. 1
