Summary

Malik transmits from several narrators that Abdullah ibn Masud, while in Kufa, was asked about marrying a mother after her daughter when the daughter had not been touched, and he allowed it. On reaching Medina and asking, he was told it was not as he had said, since the condition applies to the stepdaughters. Returning to Kufa, before reaching home, he found the man he had advised and told him to separate from his wife. 1
