Summary
A report of Anas ibn Malik (may God be pleased with him) in the Book of Marriage of Sahih Muslim. The hadith answers a tendency among some Companions toward monastic abstention and sets the practical line of the Sunna. It is followed by the Prophet ﷺ's rejection of celibacy for Uthman ibn Maz'un. 1
