Overview
In 316 AH the vizier Ali ibn Isa was seized and placed under guard in the palace of the caliph. The caliph al-Muqtadir gave the vizierate to Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Muqla, who had been brought to the palace after correspondence and guarantees. 1
The report occurs in one place in al-Tabari and needs an additional source.
