Overview
In 83 AH the battle at Maskin took place between al-Hajjaj and Ibn al-Ash'ath, after Ibn al-Ash'ath had been defeated at Dayr al-Jamajim. Ziyad ibn Ghunaym al-Qaysi was killed in it; he was over the Mutasalaha among the troops of al-Hajjaj. 1
