Ibn Qudama al-Maqdisi

A grown-up reads you the short text; the longer one you read yourself.

Muwaffaq al-Din Ibn Qudama al-Maqdisi the Hanbali, a jurist of the Jerusalem house, author of 'Lum'at al-I'tiqad' on the creed of the Sunna folk in the salaf manner and the book 'al-Mughni'.

Muwaffaq al-Din Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Qudama al-Maqdisi the Hanbali, a jurist of the Jerusalem house. He wrote 'Lum'at al-I'tiqad' on the creed of the Sunna folk in the salaf manner — titled Hanbali on the edition's title page — and the book 'al-Mughni'. Born at Jamma'il in 541 AH, he died at Damascus in 620 AH by the Lum'a editor's introduction, and it is said he died on the day of the Fitr feast and was buried at the foot of Qasyun.
