The lawful, the unlawful and the doubtful

A grown-up reads you the short text; the longer one you read yourself.

Halal is everything wholesome and permissible that benefits us, and haram is what is forbidden for human well-being.

An Islamic ethical guidance system distinguishing between halal, which is beneficial and permitted in food and daily conduct, and haram, which causes harm and must be avoided, such as lying, injustice, and deceit. Between them lie doubtful matters to be navigated with care, while the general principle in worldly matters is broad permissibility.
